Who are you? I'm Peter Adams but some people call me Blue Peter. What do you do? I play guitar and do some singing in local pop'n'roll group And What Will Be Left Of Them? (http://www.myspace.com/awwblot) Together we put on Worcester's bestest clatterpop clubnight The Little Hellfire Club (http://www.myspace.com/thelittlehellfireclub) of which I am club Chairman. I can proudly say we've brought some of the best bands in the UK to our fair city. Aside from this I also play guitar and do some singing in a side project group called Girls On Film (http://www.myspace.com/girlsonfimuk). I also do some real jobs. Do you enjoy your job? Generally, I have three at the moment! Are you one of these lucky people whose job is also their passion/hobby? I suppose I am on the whole - I have to do some ** I hate to make money, but generally I'm currently scraping by earning a living around music and writing which are my two main interests. Good for me! Can you recommend a use for Worcestershire Sauce? Throwing it in the bin? I love the Faithful City but I can't stand that filthy gloop. What do you think of the Worcester music scene at the moment? It's brilliant. Simply brilliant. Without a doubt the best it's ever been during my involvement (which is a decade now). When you've got bands the quality of Zebedy Rays, The Hoax, Gamble Gamble, The Cape Of Good Hope, Afterview, Silver Tequila and Plot Against Paris all in one city then it can't be going too wrong! A part of it is that, since the emergence of the 11.47am acoustic nights a few years ago, all the local musicians and bands started talking and drinking together. That meant that rather than being inward looking with interband sniping and bitching etc, everyone started helping each other out and setting their sights on the outside world. Do you speak any foreign languages? Not really. A small amount of German perhaps... What car do you drive? A green one. I think it's a Vauxhall. You'd think I'd know, but I honestly don't. Is there one song you really wish that you had written? Loads and loads and loads... To get over that feeling, what I do is rip those songs off. What would you like to be remembered for? Being of some use. Playing some enjoyable gigs and writing some enjoyable songs. What do you think you will be remembered for? I don't think I will be to be honest... but I'm trying to do my best with the time I've got. Do you have a favourite line from a song? Nahhh, not really... If there was a movie of your life, who would play you? Probably someone who was willing to work for very very little money. If there was a movie of your life what would the film be called? Peter - The Unofficial Story. Straight to daytime American TV it'd go. I watched the Unofficial Story of comedy fatty Roseanne Barr the other day.You don't want to know what her dad did to her... But I can give you a clue. ter. If there was a movie of your life would it be a tragedy, a comedy, action thriller, a rom-com or ...... ? A bit of everything... make 'em laugh, make 'em cry.... Do you have a favourite joke? I don't really do jokes very well... What do you think is the best thing to happen in the last 25 years? Personally I'd go with me not dying, but that's an extremely personal point of view. What do you think is the worst thing to happen in the last 25 years? There's simply too much too list. How many times in the past month have you thought "I wish I'd done that" or "I wish I'd thought of that"? I very rarely think that though I do often have a burning desire to be in other people's bands when I watch them. Which is best, Apple Mac or PC? Apple Mac hands down. Whats the first record you ever bought? Every Loser Wins by Nick Berry. Oh yes. What is the most embarrassing song on your MP3 player right now? I don't have one! I have an iPod Retro. It takes cassettes and each one can hold an entire album. It's amazing technology ain't it? Is you're MP3 player's memory full? Most of my cassettes are full. What song do you want played at your funeral? Oh that's easy - Candle In The Wind. If you werent answering these questions, what would you be doing right now? Getting on with making the new poster for this month's Little Hellfire Club! I should've done it last week. Which Dan Ackroyd film do you prefer, "Blues Brothers" or "My Stepmother Is an Alien? " Ghostbusters. Who is your favourite Dr Who? Peter Davison. But only because he was the first one I can remember and you always like your first best... Who is your favourite James Bond? Roger Moore, same reason... If you only had a choice of two shops would you get your groceries from Marks and Spencers or Lidl? Lidl probably. I'm not a rich man. If you had to watch one film, all day, everyday, for a week, which film would it be? Ghostbusters. Do you have a favourite time of the day? I do most of my work through the night, so the night. What book/magazine are you reading? Book is Clockwork Orange, magazine is the NME - though it isn't very good anymore... Have you any advice or thoughtful insight for our readers? Just. Get. On.
