Who are you?
Tony Gibbon

What do you do?
I have been a DJ on and off for longer than I care to remember! I run Backstage Promotions which over the years has been involved in band management, live music promotions, festival organisers, tour producers/promoters and other bits and pieces..
I am currently responsible for live music at Drummonds in Worcester and in the process of setting up a national DJ agency.

What do you think of the Worcester music scene at the moment?
The Worcester music scene was at its best in the mid sixties (so I'm told), it was really healthy in the mid 90's with venues like the Northwick offering a stage for bands. Sadly, the local scene has been affected by the lack of decent venues. However, things are looking up thanks to places like the Marrs Bar and a few other enterprising promoters. There's a lot of talent in this city!
