Message from Sam Isaac ---------- Hello, Happy new year everyone! Its been a long time since I sent one of these. I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and New Year. I finished my album at the tail end of last year which was great and I'm now finally on the road to getting it out for you guys to listen to! We're releasing a single before it comes out, there's information about that below. In other news, I've been doing some decorating for my parents, auditioning for a new band member and also driving an American band on tour whilst I have some time off from playing my own shows. I'm writing this from a hotel room in Paris, no joke. Also, I've started writing songs for my next album. It feels good. 1) "Come Back Home Tonight" - The Brand New Single I'm releasing a brand new single called "Come Back Home Tonight" on March 9th. It's the first song from my forthcoming debut album "Bears," and was recorded by Dan Swift (Art Burt, Aqualung). Its going to be released on Hear You Me, and will be available on CD and as a download. Both formats feature a brand new song called "July" and also a Rod Thomas remix of the single. The CDs will come in exclusive hand-made, individually numbered packaging created by Two Ducks Disco, the people that do all of my artwork. If you'd like to listen to the new single, just go to my myspace page and its the first song on my music player. The CD single costs just £2, and you can pre-order it from the Sam Isaac Online Shop, Banquet Records or Rough Trade. Order earlier and you'll get a lower number! The CDs are going to be extremely limited so make sure you order yours early to avoid dissapointment! 2) Upcoming shows! I'm playing a few shows in the coming weeks. I'm going to be going on some really exciting tours in the next few months (more details will be announced soon!) but for now there are a few little shows coming up in London and nearby. There are a couple of shows supporting The Spinto Band, which is really exciting as they're one of the reasons I started writing my own songs. Their first album was a huge influence on my song writing. Anyway, these are the shows I'm playing in the next few weeks! Friday 6th February - Fighting **s, Kingston (acoustic) w/Luke Leighfield, Jose Vanders, Mistakes in Animation Tuesday 17th February - Rod Thomas Fundraiser @ The Wilmington, London (acoustic) w/Rod Thomas, James Yuill (DJ Set) Tuesday 24th February - Dingwalls, London (full band) w/The Spinto Band Thursday 26th February - Bucks Uni, High Wycombe (full band) w/The Spinto Band 3) Be an extra in my new music video! I'm shooting a music video for my new single on Saturday 7th February in Northampton. If pillow fights are your thing then you're more than welcome to come and get involved.
