no problem, Sundays are fine. drop me a message/mail when you're ready (give me a couple of weeks notice if possible).
As for the room, as long as the guitar/bass/vocals aren't too loud it'll be fine, I'll close mic the drum kit so background echos shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Yeah if your up for it then so are we, just give us a few weeks to go over some of the songs we havent played in a while then I will let you know, But it is Leominster mind and the rehearsal room is a bit shall we say Large and not the best sounding space is the world. We practice Sundays and Fridays, but the Sunday is better for us to do recording because we can have the room from 5pm till whenever we want, fridays is a little more limeted as it is 6:30-8pm.
hey man, my band practice at the session on sundays. in a few weeks to a month we'd probably be up for recording 2 or 3 songs that we haven't yet recorded.
we rehearse in 3 hour stints.. so if you could set up and run abit of a session in that time, you'd be welcome to come and play with your gear.
Paul.. Thats a very generous offer and we would love to take you up on it but we have nothing ready to record as yet. (Dam us for being so lazy!!) Hope you get some interest as your 1050 recordings are ace!!
Would you be up for doing a live recording of one of our gigs some time in the future? I have editing software but no portable hardware or multitrack recorder.
but if you realy need a band to record and dont mind the treck to Leominster we could nock out a few covers that we wouldnt mind recording for pub demos.
I'm trying to get into recording, And I have a reasonable set of equipment and mics. I'd like to find a band or two to 'practice' on, ie someone who doesn't mind me mucking around a little during recording to get the right sound.
You can hear what I've done with my band here - http://www.tenfifty.co.uk/music (This was recorded at 7th wave back in April.)
Now, I don't have a studio, my equipment is portable (luggable really) and I'd come to your rehersal room and work with you on the recording (I could redub vocals at a later date for better seperation).
In return, I'll give you a high quality recording/mix as an audio CD and the individual tracks as .wavs (in case you should want to mix them yourselves).
I'd like two bands, and I'll record/mix four tracks of each for free.
