Magazine is a band that was formed in the late '70s by Howard Devoto who had been with Pete Shelley in the Buzz****s. Their most successful line-up was Devoto (Vocals - also with Buzz****s/Luxuria), John McGeoch (guitar/sax - Visage/Siouxsie/PiL/Armoury Show), Barry Adamson (bass - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds) , John Doyle (drums - Armoury Show) and Dave Formula (keyboards).
They're cited by various major bands, like Radiohead for example, as influences.
I've been a fan of Magazine since around 1982 and would be interested in knowing of any other Worcester musicians who are also fans or, at least, appreciate their skill!
