New Competition  - The Ultimate Battle

Following the success of the two competitions held at the Railway Hotel in Evesham in 2009, Battle of the Bands and Battle of the Acoustics, the Railway Hotel is proud to announce a brand new music competition for January 2010 The Ultimate Battle.

Whether in a Band, a Duo, solo artists or whatever music you play from Rock, Folk, Jazz, Punk or Acoustic this is a competition for anyone, to pit their talent against the best.

This free to enter competition starts on January 22^nd.

The first prize is £750 + a pre-paid gig at the Railway Hotel with a second prize of £250.

It is open to 18s and over and acts will be required to perform for a min 40 mins with a max 50 mins.

No more than two covers will be allowed in the set but each act must do at least one.

Each act will be judged by a panel of 5 judges.

There will be a maximum of 32 entries allowed, so applicants should either send in a CD or link to a site with your music on.

Admission on the night will be free before 10.00pm after that a charge of £2.00.

All door takings and raffles for each of the nights will go to the Air Ambulance.
